Our History

Owners Matt Haines and his brother chef Fred Haines — the California restaurateur duo behind 33rd Street Bistro, ROC&SOL Diner and Suzie Burger — first envisioned Wildwood Kitchen & Bar.

Chef Haines is a maestro with more than 30 years of experience. He’s honed his skills alongside world-renowned chefs such as Daniel Boulud and Tomas Keller.

Finding inspiration in Northwestern and Pacific Island cuisine, he focuses on delivering you fresh, local and seasonal farm-to-table ingredients. His cooking style expertly blends flavors from the melting pot of traditional American cooking techniques.

Chef Victor Cruz runs the kitchen today. Taking Chef Haines’ style and making it his own, Chef Cruz crafts every plate with an unwavering commitment to delicious creativity.
